*Current employees and owners of The Meritage Collection hotels and resorts are not eligible to enroll or enjoy program benefits while employed/having an ownership stake.
One or more nights at a Meritage Collection hotel in which a member:
- provides membership information at check in.
- pays a qualifying rate (see below)
- books through a hotel direct channel AND
- stays in one of the reserved guest rooms.
A member may earn elite night credits for up to three (3) guest rooms when staying in one of the reserved guest rooms and paying a qualifying rate for all guest rooms. Complimentary Signature Drink and Spa Enhancement vouchers as well as complimentary room upgrades, and priority late check out as available may be given only for the room the member occupies.
If more than one member stays in the same guest room, the member on the reservation will be considered the member who will receive benefits based on their tier status and will earn qualifying night credit(s) for the stay.
Non-Qualifying Rates which may not qualify to earn membership tier benefits (complimentary Welcome Drink, complimentary Spa Enhancement, room upgrade, late check-out, and any other member benefits that might be offered) or night credits include:
- Wholesale Rates: Booked through a tour operator, tour package wholesaler, or travel agent.
- Online Travel Channel: Third-party channels including, without limitation, expedia.com, priceline.com, booking.com, credit card travel sites.
- Group Rate: As part of an event, meeting, conference or organized tour, and the Member does not directly pay the Participating Property for such room.
- Complimentary Room Nights: Reservations or nights stayed for Site Visit Rate CMPSTE, Complimentary COMP, Club Blue Comp Rate COMPCB, House Use Rate HSU, Media Stays, Sweepstakes, Press, and others not listed.
- A voucher or third-party award was redeemed for the guest room.
- The only exception is when a guest whose name is on the reservation enrolls at check in in which case a complimentary Welcome Drink and a Spa Enhancement will be issued as a thank you for joining. Elite night credits may not be earned on non-qualifying rates.
Rates offered to members only. May not be combined with other discounted rates and may not be available at all times and/or on all room types.
Members can book up to 3 rooms/night using the member rate through the hotel website(s), Member Support or directly with the hotel. Members can:
- earn elite night credits for up to 3 rooms
- receive only one Signature Drink and Spa Enhancement
- receive an upgrade and late checkout as available on the room they occupy for 24 KARAT members.
Non-members can book the Stay Golden member rate and will simply need to enroll by completing the form on any participating Meritage Collection property website before checking-in:

Vouchers are valid for the duration of the stay and expire on the day of departure. Lost or misplaced vouchers will not be replaced and have no cash value. To redeem, vouchers must be given to hotel staff upon presentation of the bill.
- Voucher is eligible for any (1) beverage item listed on the Main Restaurant or Bar's Signature Cocktail, Wine, & Beer List. Value not to exceed $25 for (1) selected item. The Member will not be responsible for taxes and gratuities for the value of (1) beverage ($25 or less). Member is responsible for any amount over $25 value, as well as any additional food and beverage items purchased, including taxes and gratuity. Check with the Front Desk on any food and beverage outlets which are excluded.
- Complimentary Spa Enhancements must be added to a paid spa treatment or package and the value cannot be put toward a paid spa treatment. Spa vouchers can be used by others in the member’s party during that stay. Member is responsible for any taxes and service charge applicable to the Spa treatment and Spa Enhancement. Check with the hotel Spa on any treatments or enhancements that may be excluded.
*The only exception is for guests who join at check-in and pay a non-qualifying rate. As a thank you for joining, a guest whose name is on the reservation and joins will receive a Signature Drink and Spa enhancement on this stay only but will not earn elite night credits.
Stay Golden does not issue membership numbers at the current time. Members provide their Full Name, email address, address, or phone number when booking and/or checking-in.
Stay Golden does not offer password protected online accounts at the current time. Members will receive periodic emails with their account status, progression toward 24 KARAT status, special offers, etc. or can contact Member Support at staygolden@meritagecollection.com or (844) 449-2747 for account information.

Contact Member Support at staygolden@meritagecollection.com to merge duplicate accounts or change your name or contact information. Please provide your name, email, phone number and outline your request. Legal documentation of a name change may be requested to change the name on the account. Our systems may automatically merge duplicate guest records with enrollment in Stay Golden Rewards.

With the Stay Golden Rewards membership program, you earn toward membership status with each qualified night stayed at a participating Meritage Collection property.
Stay Golden members maintain status for the calendar year in which they qualify AND for the next calendar year. Membership tier status will restart on January 1 unless re-earned in Year 2.
Example of Requalifying for 24 Karat after Year 1:
- Year 1 = Have 4 qualifying nights within a year to enjoy the benefits, Member enjoys:
- 24 Karat level for the remainder of Year 1
- 24 Karat level for all of Year 2
- Maintains 24 Karat status in Year 3 if achieving at least 4 qualifying nights in Year 2.
Example of Not Requalifying for 24 Karat after Year 1:
- Year 1 = Have 4 qualifying nights within a year to enjoy the benefits, Member enjoys:
- Year 1 = Have 4 qualifying nights within a year to enjoy the benefits.
- 24 Karat level for the remainder of Year 1
- 24 Karat level for all of Year 2
- Downgraded to 18 Karat on January 1 of Year 3 if they have 0-3 qualifying nights in Year 2.
