The ice rink, Santa's Tavern & Village Food Truck are open daily 11:00am - 10:00pm now through January 11, 2025.

Outside food and beverage is strictly prohibited. A variety of dining options are available at the rink and throughout the resort.

Santa's Tavern & Village Food Truck at the ice rink are open daily 11:00am - 10:00pm, serving festive non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails, wine, beer and casual eats.

Advance tickets for ice skating, fire pits and igloos may be purchased online here. Reservations are only valid for the time(s) and date(s) purchased. 

On-site tickets may be purchased via mobile phone/QR code, but rink capacity is limited to 90 guests and may sell out. To ensure availability, we advise guests to purchase tickets in advance.

Ice skating tickets include 90 minutes of skating and ice skate rental. You may bring your own skates but there is no discount on your ticket. 

Igloo and fire pit reservations do not include ice skating. 

Prices for igloos and fire pits vary by day and time.

Fire pits start at $125 for two hours and accommodate up to 5 people. Fire pits include a s'mores kit and dedicated server for purchasing additional food and beverage.

Igloos start at $150 for two hours and accommodate up to 6 people. Igloos include a dedicated server for purchasing food and beverage.

No, we do not offer ice skate sharpening services.

No, for the safety of all skaters, only ice skates are allowed on the ice surface.

Yes, socks are required for ice skate rental.  There is no need to wear extra thick socks.

Ice skating tickets are valid for 90 minutes of skating, which begins at your reserved time. To make the most of your session and be respectful of other skaters, you may check in up to 10 minutes before your skate time and up to 20 minutes after your skate time.

Unlimited ice skating is available as part of an overnight stay package at The Meritage Resort and Spa. The Merry Meritage Holiday Escape package includes accommodations, unlimited ice skating and skate rentals for two (2) during your stay, and a $50 daily resort credit for additional ice skaters, festive events, holiday dining, wine tasting or seasonal spa treatments. 

Yes, you can purchase as many ice skating sessions as you would like, based on availability. Each skating ticket is valid for 90 minutes of skate time.

The ice rink remains open in light rain or drizzle. If heavy rain or severe storm conditions are expected, resulting in a venue closure, affected reservations will be rescheduled or refunded. Please contact icerink@meritageresort.com with any questions.

Tickets are non-refundable and reservations are only valid for the time(s) and date(s) purchased. However, reservations can be revised up to 24 hours before the reserved skating date/time without penalty. To update your reservation, please contact icerink@meritageresort.com. 

There is no minimum (or maximum!) age, but we do require that a skating adult accompany any skaters under the age of 12 years old. 

Shoes and strollers are not allowed on the ice, and parents are not allowed to carry children while skating.

All skaters must purchase a ticket and wear ice skates. We have skates from toddler size 8 to adult size 15. We also offer skate helpers and double-runner skates for young children; these skates have two blades instead of one for more stability. We do not rent helmets, but you are welcome to bring your own.

No, skaters 13-17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in attendance at the rink at all times.

Of course, extra protection is always encouraged. We do not rent helmets, but you are welcome to bring your own.

We have a limited number of stand-up skate  helpers that can be reserved in advance when you purchase your ice skating tickets online.

We also offer double-runner skates for shoe sizes toddler 8 to youth 2; these skates have two blades instead of one for more stability.  

Yes, our ice rink is ADA accessible. We allow and encourage wheelchairs on the ice. Please ask a guest service member for assistance.
